For the 2018 National Flute Association Conference, the client wanted the art to be inspired by vintage postcards from Florida - the location of the event.

After doing some research, I illustrated classic Florida flora & fauna popping out along the state's coastline, using bright & pastel colors, texture and vintage/hand-lettering-inspired type to evoke the nostalgic, somewhat kitschy feel the client was looking for. The yellowed border and stamp edges along their logo finished the postcard touch. I carried the same design elements into Snapchat geofilters to use during the conference, on t-shirts and in advertisements.
