For this cook book project, I set out to create a playful and contemporary style while experimenting with gouache painting. I created a Swedish design-inspired grid system with painterly touches in the titles to nod to my process of exploring gouache.  The illustration style playfully dances between expansive abstraction, quick gestural work and realistic renderings - all of ingredients, utensils and furniture used throughout the use of this cook book.
